Chief Executive

Ian became Chief Executive of the 157 Group in September 2015.  Prior to this he spent 8 years at Capgemini (a Global consulting, technology and outsourcing Group employing over 177,000 people) where he held senior Global and UK roles as a Vice President and then Senior Vice President.  These roles included leading Capgemini’s global tax and welfare business development activities and, more recently, as part of Capgemini UK plc’s Public Sector leadership team.  Ian is also a former Senior Civil Servant with 15 years’ experience across Government having worked in both the Cabinet Office and HM Revenue & Customs.  His primary focus throughout his career, in both public and commercial sectors, has been on strategy, transformation and organisational development.   Ian has placed particular emphasis on how to deliver better outcomes for Government by improving business performance and extending collaboration between public and commercial sectors.  A full profile can be found here
