157 Group Annual Reception 2012

Thank you for visiting our annual reception page. This year our annual reception is taking place on 4th December in the Bishop Partridge Hall at Church House, Great Smith Smith. We expect, as usual to have a good attendance of high level guests from FE the sector, both from the public and private sectors, as well as parliamentary guests and speakers. Our event this year is sponsored by OCR and is being hosted by Baroness Wall of New Barnet.

Are you ready? Raising the Participation Age - opportunities and threats for Colleges

There is a lot for Colleges to do over the next eighteen months to get ready for this change. This one day conference will set out the new legal framework for RPA and explore how Colleges can increase enrolment, keep students and work with employers in what is becoming an increasingly competitive environment. The opportunities and challenges which lie ahead will be addressed, including how to reach out to young people not in education, employment or training, requirements for data transfer, changes to the curriculum, careers advice, bursaries and more.

WorldSkills Premiere Experience, 4 to 9th October 2011

The WorldSkills Premiere Experience (WSPE) is a not-to-be missed conference and event programme being hosted in conjunction with the 41st WorldSkills Competition at ExCeL in London from October 4-9, 2011.
