Vice-Chair of 157 Group and principal of Leeds City College

Leeds City College has been a member of the 157 Group since its inception in April 2009 and prior to that was a member via Park Lane College Leeds. As such there is a strong link between Leeds City College and the colleges that the 157 Group represents. Membership of 157 Group brings with it considerable benefits, not least in terms of its political influence, lobbying and the sharing of common issues that face large urban and regional influential colleges. As such, being a member of 157 Group nationally lends itself to playing an active part and after nearly three years of personal membership, I was happy to be nominated as a Director.
